Snow Removal Operator

Main mandate

As a Snow Removal Operator in our Snow Removal team, you will be responsible for operating your snow removal system to ensure that snow removal, ice breaking and snow blowing are done safely at the various locations involved.

Your challenges

  • Be available on call, anytime from November 15 to April 15 (day, evening, weekend, holidays);
  • Be aware of equipment and infrastructure at the snow removal sites;
  • Perform simple general maintenance of snow removal equipment (refueling, greasing, washing, etc...);
  • Perform any other related tasks required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
  • Work with and communicate effectively with your foreman to ensure safe snow removal operations and compliance with established snow removal standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid class 5 driver’s licence;
  • Similar experience with the type of equipment involved or in snow removal will be considered an asset.
