The stripping work for PIT A (Zones 1 to 5) consists of removing surface materials in order to prepare the ground for subsequent excavation and mining phases. The work includes, but is not limited to:

Delineation and securing of work areas according to the planned sequence.
Removal of the organic soil layer, overburden, and non-exploitable surface materials.
Mechanical excavation using heavy equipment adapted to site conditions.
Loading and hauling of stripped materials to approved disposal, temporary stockpile, or waste areas.
Shaping and grading of stripped surfaces to ensure a platform that meets operational and safety requirements.
Management of slopes, access routes, and drainage to maintain ground stability.
Execution of the work in compliance with health and safety standards, environmental requirements, and applicable procedures.

Zones 1 to 5 are carried out in a sequential and coordinated manner to optimize work progress, equipment movement, and overall site productivity.
